Siebel Inbound Web Services Not Retrieved And Listed in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) - Siebel Adapter Configuration (Doc ID 2944093.1)

Symptoms


When using the Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) - Siebel Adapter to fetch the list of Published Web Services from the Siebel application, a series of custom web services starting with names "BSS*" were not retrieved. These Inbound Web Services are custom services needed for the business, but are not being retrieved / displayed in the [Select a Published Service] picklist in OIC.


The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Follow the steps outlined in the documentation to configure OIC to connect to Siebel application;

2. At the OIC configuration view, click on the Picklist for [Select a Published Service]:

a- Many other web services are listed, both standard and custom ones;
b- However, the web services with names starting with "BSS*" are not listed.


This prevents the intended use of the OIC Siebel Adapter to connect/integrate with Siebel application.
