BIP Reports Generation Failing with Error "SBL-RPT-50524: BI Publisher engine failed to generate report" (Doc ID 2950551.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Generate BIP reports
the following error occurs in the Siebel application.

SBL-RPT-50524: BI Publisher engine failed to generate report.

XMLPReportServer component log has following errors:

Line 19384: ObjMgrBusServiceLog Error 1 0000032364652c91:0 2023-05-18 16:40:22 (outdisp.cpp (267)) SBL-EAI-04308: Operation 'runReport' of Web Service 'http://xmlns.oracle.com/oxp/service/v11/PublicReportService.PublicReportServiceService' at port 'PublicReportService_v11' failed with the following explanation: "oracle.xdo.webservice.exception.OperationFailedException: PublicReportService::generateReport for reportAbsolutePath [/SiebelCRMReports/India Region Service Report.xdo] failed: due to oracle.xdo.server.ReportException: oracle.xdo.servlet.CreateException: oracle.xdo.servlet.CreateException: Report definition not found:/SiebelCRMReports/India Region Service Report.xdo [username=ldapuser]".

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Setup Siebel IP17& Later and integrate with BIP.
  2. Login to the Siebel Application.
  3. Generate a BIP report

Changes

 Moved BIP from a dedicated server to a Siebel server.
