Field Level Validation Is Not Working When Clicking Enter Button After Entering Value When Error Popup Is Customized (Doc ID 2963258.1)

Symptoms

The pop-up error is configured using JavaScript custom code according to bookshelf: "Customizing How Siebel Open UI Displays Error Messages"

The user is entering an invalid value in a field that has validation such as " Work Phone", then "ENTER" is pressed and the value is reset to the previous value and no popup error is displayed. The pop-up validation error is properly displayed if the user hits "TAB" or moves with the mouse on another field.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Start Siebel services.

2. Connect to the server manager.

3. Set for sccobjmgr_enu object manager the following parameters:
