Symptoms
PostInstallDBSetup process is failing after updating Siebel from 21.12 to 23.7
Error in console
Executing Command: /bin/csh -c /opt/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/bin/PostInstallDBSetup -i /opt/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/bin/Setup.ini -p ***** -z ***** -t
s_output : Error Occurred During Execution
Executing Command: /bin/csh -c /opt/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/bin/PostInstallDBSetup -i /opt/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/bin/Setup.ini -p ***** -z ***** -t
s_output : Error Occurred During Execution
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Applied Siebel 23.7 update on top of existing 21.12 environment
2. Ran postinstallDBsetup step using below command and it failed with error.
"PostInstallDBSetup -i Setup.ini -p xxxx -z xxxx"
