Siebel Gateway Configuration is Failing With Invalid Gateway Host Name and/or HTTPS Port Error in SMC (Doc ID 2967408.1)

While setting up the Gateway the following error has returned:

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Install binaries (by following the Installation Guide > Installing Siebel CRM in a New Installation)
2. Install the Siebel database schema. (by following the Installation Guide > Installing the Siebel Database)
3. Access the Siebel Management Console (e.g. https://<FQDN>:<AI_PORT>/siebel/smc)
4. Set up Gateway
