Siebel Object Manager Component is Exiting with the Error: "SBL-SMI-00147 Process %1 exited with error - Version check failed because: %1" (Doc ID 2989895.1)

Symptoms

When starting the Siebel Server the custom Siebel Object Manager Component in FRA language is exiting with the error below:

From Siebel Enterprise Log: 

ServerLog ProcessExit 1 0000000465490b10:0 2023-11-06 14:31:02 eChannelPanelObjMgr_fra 10292 SBL-SMI-00147   Process <process_id> exited with error - Version check failed because: %1

Note: The Siebel Enterprise Log file name is in the format of <enterprise name>.<server name>.log and is located in the directory <SIEBEL_ROOT>/siebsrvr/enterprises/<Enterprise>/<Siebel_server>/log (UNIX) or <SIEBEL_HOME>\siebsrvr\log (Windows).

 

From the Object Manager log file. On this example eChannelPanelObjMgr_fra_%.log

Note: Siebel Object Manager Log is located in the SIEBEL_ROOT/siebsrvr/enterprises/$Enterprise/$Siebel_server/log directory (UNIX) or SIEBEL_HOME/siebsrvr/log (Windows) directory

 



STEPS
--------
1. Create a custom object manager for FRA language. For further details refer to:

Siebel Bookshelf 21.12 >  Siebel System Administration Guide > Chapter 4 Configuring Siebel Servers > Process of Creating a Custom Siebel Server Component

2. Restart the Siebel server
