Document Server Generates Correspondences With Hard Space Instead Of Normal Space (Doc ID 2990945.1)

Document Server generates Correspondences with Hard space ( ) instead of normal space. For example the attachments bellow, "one space between words [sample].png", "one space between words [paragraph marks].png" and "concatenated.png", shows the differences of spaces between the words:

When using Document Server to generate Siebel Correspondences in our application It replaces the values from SIEBEL.HTML to the placeholders in the templates, as expected. When replacing the placeholders it contains incorrect spaces because of which the correspondences for our customers are incorrectly printed.

 The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

 1. Enable the Document Server component group in Siebel application.
 2. Make a typical MS Office installation in the Siebel server, start MS Word, and create a blank document.
 3. In Siebel, in the "Personal Templates" view of the Correspondence screen, create a template using the file created in step 2.
 4. Generate the SIEBEL.HTML file in "My Correspondence Requests" view using the template created in step 3.
 5. Look for the SIEBEL.HTML file in the $SiebelSever/temp folder (or other specific path) and copy it to a local machine.
 6. In the local machine, create a template document in Word using the fields included in the SIEBEL.HTML file and save it.
 7. In Siebel application, in the "Personal Templates" view, create a template using the file created in step 6.
 8. In the "My Correspondence Requests" view, create a new request using the template created in step 7, select at least one recipient, and generate the Correspondence file.
 9. Look for the SIEBEL.HTML file in the $SiebelSever/temp folder and open it.
 10. Notice that all the values that were used in the Correspondence file appear in the SIEBEL.HTML file with the words separated with the ensp; code.

Due to this issue, users cannot correctly generate the templates.
