When attempting to implement AI sidecar Proof Of Concept for Siebel-Kafka CRM Pub Events, the below error occurs in EventLogger.log:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Implement Siebel-Kafka CRM PUB events as per the documentation.
2. Send events from Kafka.
3. Notice the error.
