Changes Introduced by IRR Migration Require Relogin for AOMs Running in Unshipped Languages (Doc ID 3011934.1)

Last updated on JUNE 12, 2024

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 23.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

For AOMs running in unshipped languages, changes propagated by incremental data migration are only visible in target environments after users' relogin.

The issue does not occur for shipped languages.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Change one applet (for instance, inactivate the 'NewRecord' applet web template item for SIS Account List Applet ) in DR environment.

2. In Target, set parameter ServerSessionLoopSleepTime to a lower value than the 900 (seconds) default, so that changes are visible faster. In this case they were set to 30(seconds).

3. Perform IRR migration Source > Target.

4. Navigate to Home page and back to SIS Account List Applet.

5. In ENU instances during navigation to Home page it was visible that some reload occurred and the applet changes were visible (without users needing to relogin), i.e., the NewRecord control disappeared.

6. In unshipped languages instances the web template item 'NewRecord' was still available.

7. After relogin, the applet changes became visible in Target environment, so the 'NewRecord' applet web templet item disappeared.

Changes

Update from 23.1 to 23.8 Siebel release.
