Symptoms
Siebel Tools 23.10 is patched to 24.2 using silent install mode and the following errors are found in the silentInstallYYYY-MM-DD_HH-MI-SS-AM/PM.log file located under SIEBEL_HOME/cfgtoollogs/oui directory
The syntax used to execute the installation in silent mode is:
setup.bat -silent -responseFile response_filename.rsp
Spite of the errors the installation is successfully completed and there is no apparent issue with the Siebel Tools 24.2 operations.
Steps
1. Apply 24.2 Monthly Update on top of the existing Siebel Tools 23.10 installation in silent mode
2. Verify the silentInstallYYYY-MM-DD_HH-MI-SS-AM/PM.log file located under SIEBEL_HOME/cfgtoollogs/oui directory
3. Login to Siebel Tools, it works normally
