Purpose

The purpose of this document is to provide you with a basic understanding of how the Outbound Communications Manager uses Advanced Templates and Recipient Groups when creating and submitting Outbound Communication Requests. The information contained in this document applies both to manual outbound communication requests submitted from the user interface (UI) and communication requests launched automatically in workflows and scripts. This document will focus on the Create and Submit Request [CreateRequest] method of the Outbound Communications Manager business service.
