Purpose

It is possible to reset the password on a local database if a mobile user forgets their password . In order to change the SQL Anywhere password, users must log into the SQL Anywhere database as the database administrator and change the passwords by running SQL statements using SQL Anywhere Database OR if user is using Siebel 8.x and an encrypted database there is a special Administrator account password option. Please note that SQL Anywhere versions, which are shipped with Siebel Applications, will automatically encrypt the password in a local database. This will make it impossible to determine the current password.
