Purpose
The Environment Verification Tool (EVT) is used to verify that a server running Siebel software is configured correctly and complies with the Siebel system requirements and supported platforms for the given version. EVT will assist in identifying potential problems in your environment before and after installation. The tool does not substitute for or validate all parts of the Systems Requirements and Supported Platforms Guide (SR&SP). However, using EVT will expedite your efforts to ensure system compliance.
This Technical Note is intended to provide users with a comprehensive source of EVT information. Below, you will find technical details of using EVT and links to the downloadable EVT packages.
