Purpose

This technical note provides information about how to setup an Outbound Web service definition in the Siebel application to invoke a web service deployed on a Microsoft .NET application server. The Web service can be deployed on any other application server such as IBM Websphere, BEA Weblogic or Tomcat but the same steps can be used to set it up in Siebel application.
