Purpose

Application Deployment Manager (ADM) helps Siebel administrators easily and quickly automate the migration of key reference data across different Siebel environments, such as between a development and a test environment.

This technical note provides additional information about ADM and how to best utilize this feature when migrating data across different Siebel environments.

Since Management Server is no longer supported starting with IP2014, the recommendation is to review the functionality of Oracle Enterprise Manager as a workaround.

The User Interface deployment options of Application Deployment Manager (ADM) continue to be supported.  Users can export and import files, as expected.
