Symptoms

Dear Supportweb,
we are facing a strange behaviour in EIM process to insert/update assets.
EIM table = EIM_ASSET
base table = S_ASSET, S_ASSET_ACCNT

We have a wrong behaviour in updating the value of the column "OWNERSHIP_TYPE_CD" on the base table, by mapping it in the EIM_ASSET.AST_OWNERSHIPTYPEC column

For example we have an asset with number 000000000010317273, the situation BEFORE EIM is:
S_ASSET.OWNERSHIP_TYPE_CD='ZEC2'
EIM_ASSET.IF_ROW_STAT='FOR_IMPORT'
EIM_ASSET.AST_OWNERSHIPTYPEC='ZEC3' --> different from base table value

The situation after EIM runs is:
S_ASSET.OWNERSHIP_TYPE_CD='ZEC2' --> NOT updated
EIM_ASSET.IF_ROW_STAT='DUP_RECORD_EXISTS'

In the logfile generated by EIM we receive the message:
"Process [Import All Assets] had all rows fail on EIM_ASSET for batch 222:
All rows were duplicates of existing rows. (severity 3)
All rows specified for importing in this process were duplicates of rows
already in the corresponding base tables. No existing rows were updated or new rows inserted.
All rows failed to be processed for this interface table. Either the data in
the rows is invalid for import or row specifications did not match any existing
base table rows for export, delete or merge."

This, even though the content of the EIM column is different than the base table column, and the base table column is not updated at all.
