Using Workflow to Add an Attachment to an E-mail (Doc ID 489634.1)

Customer is trying to automate e-mailing Correspondence using Workflow and created a Workflow, which creates a Correspondence Request, adds a Recipient to that request, and generates the correspondence. As the last step in this process, we would like to have the generated correspondence e-mailed to the specified Recipient.

We have tried to use the Outbound Communications Manager Business Service, Create and Submit Request Method to create the e-mail. This works fine for the body of the e-mail, but there does not seem to be a method we can use to attach the Correspondence, or any other file stored as an attachment.

Please let us know if a Workflow-friendly method for automatically adding Attachments to an e-mail exists. Please let us know if you have any other suggestions for how we can accomplish the desired functionality.
