Symptoms

When using Global Timezone Support within an replicated architecture that has the following characteristics:

-    1 HQ node
-    1 "child" Replicated Node from the HQ Node
-    Multiple "grandchild" Replicated Nodes under the first Replicated Node
-    Multiple Mobile clients under the HQ, child replicated node and grandchild replicated node

How should the Replicated Node db boxes be configured to support GTZ?

1.For example, for all OM based records (Insert, update, ...) in order to use UTC function properly, should all child and grandchild replicated nodes as well as the HQ node server machine OS time be set to UTC (GMT minus daylight savings)? Or should this setting only apply to the HQ node?

2.Several of the grandchild nodes will have the app server co-located on the same box as the DB server. If the server OS time has to be set to UTC on the db server box, how will this impact the Object Managers that are running on that physical node concurrent to the db server?
