The user has a view with 3 applets on it, and want the middle applet to be dynamically toggled based on a field value entered in the parent applet.

The applets in the dynamic toggle are based on different business components - in fact, one is a regular business component, and another is a VBC.

A custom view is based on the Asset Search Business Object which has the following applets:
The top applet is based on a VBC
The middle applet is based on a VBC
The bottom applet is based on the Service Request BC

The requirement is for the middle applet to dynamically toggle to a BC based applet based on values entered in the top applet.

The original proposal was to use the existing business service used by the VBC to fetch data from the BC. During our design review it was recommended dynamically toggling to the actual BC based applet.

Is dynamic toggling allowed for applets based on different BC where one of the BC is a VBC?

Tried to configure this as standard dynamic toggles but while the applet toggle, found that it does not display any data. On checking in Help>About View, it was noted that the BC of the toggled applet was the BC of the default applet and not the one on which the toggle applet was based on.

However, there is no documentation in Siebel Bookshelf as to how this can be done.
