"Set Preference Rule" Fires Again On Second Trip into eConfigurator Session
(Doc ID 490501.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2019
Applies to:
Siebel Product Configurator - Version 7.8.2.9 [19238] and laterz*OBSOLETE: Microsoft Windows 2000
Symptoms
There are products which require another product, but should also allow the user to unselect the product that was added via the rule.
Example:
When possible, constrain selection of ABC from ABC port requires selection of DEF from DEF port to be true with a priority of 1
Problem:
In the first eConfigurator session the user is able to unselect DEF. This is accepted by upper rule. However, if the user starts session again product DEF reappears. The user expects that if removed the first time DEF will not reappear with entering eConfigurator again.
