Hello Support Web,
We need an attribute to have 11 digits (an international phone number). For validation purposes, we need the type of the attribute to be numeric.
Even the Bookshelf (Product Administration Guide, page 61) said: “Integer: The attribute value can be any positive or negative whole number.” We have found that there is a limitation in the range of numbers (-2147483648, 2147483647), that is, a 32-bits integer.
We have tried to use the type Number, at it works fine if there is no constrain defined. If we define a constrain for range validation (The attribute XXXX >= 33 100 000 000) we received the following error when validate the product: (file attached error.png)
The OM log shows the following content: (file attached log.txt)
The error disappears after deactivating the constrain.
Thanks in advance for your help.
