Symptoms

For Siebel File System Cleanup siebel have recommended to execute SFSCLEANUP utility details can be found in Siebel Server Administration Guide>Siebel Server Infrastructure Administration>Administering the SiebelFile System>Using the Siebel File System Cleanup Utility

Questions related to SFSCLEANUP utility:

1. How long approximately will it take for the Utility to complete

2. Is there any option to specify what documents to analyse. Is there a date parameter. Does Siebel use some other method to get rid of old files?

3. Please confirm the following syntax is correct

Ex. Filesystem is located on \\server1\siebfile\att

SFSCLEANUP /U <Ex: SADMIN> /P <password> /f \\server1\siebfile\att /m \\server1\siebfile\backup /x D:\log\sfscleanup.log

4. Can it be executed utility on a different server (\\server2) where our Siebel Server is installed. Also is it possible to move the files rather than deleting them for now.
