We have never used the SFSCLEANUP utility before but siebel have recommended that we need to run. I have been reading about the utility in Siebel Server Administration Guide>Siebel Server Infrastructure Administration>Administering the SiebelFile System>Using the Siebel File System Cleanup Utility
I have a few questions:
1. We currently have 102,000 files in siebfile\att. How long approximately will it take for the Utility to go through these
2. I do not see where I specify what documents to analyse. I assumed there would be a date parameter. Does Siebel use some other method to get rid of old files?
3. Can you confirm that the following syntax is correct
Our filesystem is located on \\server1\siebfile\att
I will be using the utility on a different server (\\server2) where our Siebel Server is installed. Also I will want to move the files rather than deleting them for now. I assume I can delete them later on
SFSCLEANUP /U <Ex: SADMIN> /P <password> /f \\server1\siebfile\att /m \\server1\siebfile\backup /x D:\log\sfscleanup.log
