Symptoms
We are implementing Siebel Web SSO authentication method. We have configured Siebel's session timeout to be shorter than the SSO server session timeout. The normal behavior should be that when the Siebel session timeouts but the SSO server session has not timeouted yet, the user will see a pop-up window informing that user has been idle for too long and click OK to continue and when user clicks OK button, Siebel will establish a new session for this user without requiring user to re-log on as the SSO session has not timedouted yet.
However, I do not get a pop-up window with the message, and instead get script error dialog boxes and the browser is frozen. I have to stop the Internet Explorer process and open a new one in order to workaround this behavior.
