We are using SSO and LDAP to connect to the Siebel Application. We also have implemented External Business Components (EBC) which connect a different Datasource.
When the EBC is instantiated, we get errors connecting the external source. We have traced the LDAP log file and it appears as though the database authentication for the EBC is also going to LDAP for authentication. And since the datasource is not defined in LDAP, the connection fails.
We are not sure how to configure LDAP to support BOTH the data sources - since in a single user session we will be connecting to both the Siebel database as well as the external one.
Our current credential value is:
Credential=username=fastdbcow password=woc1bd2tsaf3 type=ServerDataSrc, Key=username
How do we configure the credential value to contain both the Siebel database as well as the external database credentials ?
