Symptoms

The Accrual Points to Parent feature was not working. It worked in Siebel Loyalty 7.8.1.1 but not in 7.8.2.

The customer was trying to configure the Loyalty application so that points earned by child members were transferred to parent records i.e. point transfer.

Create a Parent Member, then create a Child member, setting the Accrual-To as 'Parent Member'.

Processed a transaction for the child member, the loyalty engine create a redemption as Type ='Redemption' and SubType='Auto Accrual'. When processed, the following message is seen in Processing Info View:
'Admin - Accruals
Applied 100 NQ Real Points
Not satisfied filter:
Admin-Redemptionr'

The result is that points will be assigned to child member and not to the Parent (the feature does mean that Parent member acrrued points based on child activity).
