Symptoms
It was reported that while testing the Siebel Approval process and the approval stage functionality under Site Map--> Approval Administration, the approval process was not working properly. The record was not being routed to the second user in the approval process which was set up.
For testing purpose, a Sequential Approval Item that consists of two Approval Stages was created. Then, a workflow that inserts a record in My Approval when a new SR is created.
When the first user approves the record, the record should then be routed to second user in approval stage, so he/she can also approve. This was not happening. Once the first user approves, nothing seems to happen.
Also, question was posed on how to display the current approval status of an item.
