Symptoms
We are using Siebel 7.8 and Oracle 10.1.0.5 and our DB is Unicode AL32UTF8.
We have a question about the NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS parameter.
By default, NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS is set to BYTES.
What value should we set the NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS parameter to for Siebel SIA and Analytics applications? Can that be Bytes or Char?
We want have some multi-byte characters in our Oracle DB either by users entering the data manually or by loading them through Analytics.
