We track user usage by users' last login time in S_USER.LAST_LOGIN_TS. Most of them are correct except for some of them. The last login timestamp field will never be updated when they connect to Server by using remote client. I attched a log file here by set the SIEBEL_LOG_EVENTS env variable to 5. The log file does not have the UPDATE statement to update S_USER table for this user. But other users have this SQL statement. Would you please help to check the log file also, and is there any other reason that the LAST_LOGIN_TS will not be updated?

Solution

When using Siebel Dedicated Client or Siebel Remote Thick Client and selecting 'Connect to: Server' and checks 'Enable Siebel QuickStart' on the Login Page, the user is able to login to the application successfully. When the user logout, the LAST_LOGIN_TS field on S_USER table is not updated accordingly.

The Bug 10500350 has been logged for this Product Defect.
