eChannel request returns with the Malformed Syntax Error

When the eChannel users login, they randomly get the malformed syntax error. The message is:
"The request could not be understood by the server due to malformed syntax
400 Bad Request
The error comes up randomly, but consistently( i.e it can happen at any place during the login session, for example: when user login, click on the Lead tab, then got the error). However, when the user go back (but not log out), and repeat the previous steps then it works fine.
We have turned up our log level in the ObjectManager, captured the event while the errors were reported, and examed the log. However, we can't find any information that can be linked to the problem.

change evtloglvl MTTrace=4 for comp <OM>
(we just left out the MTINFRATRACE=TRUE ).
