ARCHIVE - Cannot get rid of the 1 minute timeout during workflow simulation from Siebel Tools (Doc ID 515055.1)

Hello.

We are in the process of upgrading from 6.2.1 to 7.7.2.1 and are having an issue with workflow simulation. When we simulate a workflow from Tools, every minute a box pops up saying:

"1 Minute time out. Please press Yes to continue, press No to exit"

We have found Alert 1061 which describes exactly the behavior. However, we have tried the suggestions it mentions without any success. Here is what we've tried:

1. Verifying there are no breakpoints set in any scripts.
2. Remove the /h arguement under the debug tab.
3. Replace the /h arguement with /Z.
4. Replace the /h arguement with a space.

The message box still pops up every minute while simulating workflows. Is this a defect in version 7.7.2.1?
