We are experiencing a problem running the “strconv.bat” utility. We currently have a repository in ENU language, all the displayed GUI elements have a local caption defined in ENU. We are trying to apply the Symbolic strings model on the repository; we are following the instructions in the bookshelf, trying to export a conversion file, consolidate the result and apply the changes in our current repository. Unfortunately when we run strconv.bat batch file, with export command, the generated file has the “String Values” column completely blank. We experience the problem for any object type. If we continue in the process as described in the bookshelf, we update the repository with blank string, thus not leveraging the new functionality offered by Siebel 7.7.2

The log file does not give any error, and the export seems to export all the necessary files (with strings empty). I am attaching for your benefit the cfg file, the bat file and the export result for the screen object. Could you tell me how can we solve this issue?

Best Regards.

P.S. I inserted the actual version of Siebel we are using (7.7.2 SIA [18325] ENU) in the field " New version requested".
