Symptoms

Dear Siebel Support,

We are currently in the process of staging an upgrade from Siebel 6.0.2 to Siebel 7.7. After completing the preupgrade tasks we started the upgrade of the Siebel Database Schema.

However on some point the proces fails. This is the step "Upgrade multi-lingual LOV".

I checked the log files but is was giving me no usefull information. I discoverred that the LOV table was extended with a custom column, so I deleted the column from the repository, and then applied the changes to the database. This column was not deleted so I asked our database administrator to delete the column.

I then restarted the process, but it still fails at the same step.

Please advise.
