Symptoms

We are in the process of implementing Active Directory user authentication in our recently upgraded environment 7.8.2.1. As part of the security adapter implementation, we are migrating all Siebel user ID's to their Active Directory domain ID's.

We have come across an issue with several of the ID's. Some of the users have domain login ID's with a space within the ID. Unfortunately, this can not be set as the Siebel User ID in Siebel as spaces are not permitted.

Is it possible to put a marker of some sort for the security adapter to translate that into a space character? e.g. + or ?
We would prefer not having to change the Active Directory login ID's as this may affect other applications within the organization.
