Symptoms

We have configured a very simple BC user property as follows.

BC
Name:               CVCP Account Planning
Class:               CSSBCBase
Table:               S_ORG_EXT_XM
Search Spec:     [Type] = LookupValue("ACC_PLAN", "AccPlan")

Field 1 (exposed on applet)
Name:               CVCP Nx Yr Q1
Column:            X_NEXT_Q1
Imm Post Changes:        TRUE
Text Length:      22
Type:               DTYPE_INTEGER

Field 2 (exposed on applet)
Name:               CVCP Total Nx Yr
Column:            X_NX_YR_TOTAL
Imm Post Changes:        FALSE
Text Length:      22
Type:               DTYPE_INTEGER

Field 3 (not exposed on applet)
Name:               CVCP Total Nx Yr Calc
Calc Value:        [CVCP Nx Yr Q1] + [CVCP Nx Yr Q2] + [CVCP Nx Yr Q3] + [CVCP Nx Yr Q4]
Imm Post Changes:        TRUE
Force Active:     TRUE
Type:               DTYPE_INTEGER

BC USER PROP:
Name: On Field Update Set 1
Value: "CVCP Nx Yr Q1", "CVCP Total Nx Yr", "CVCP Total Nx Yr Calc"

However, this throws up the following error when field CVCP Nx Yr Q1 is changed on the UI:

[1] Wrong field values or value types detected in field %1. Please re-enter your field values. If you need additional assistance, please refer to the documentation.(SBL-UIF-00299)
[2] Value too long for field 'CVCP Total Nx Yr' (maximum size 16).(SBL-DAT-00235)

We then shortened the name of field 3 to CVCP Calc. This resulted in CVCP Total Nx Yr being set to 0 when CVCP Nx Yr Q1 is changed on the UI.
