Symptoms
Our production siebel file system is now 96% used. We have not run the Siebel File System Cleanup Utility. Our file system size is around 4.6 GB and it is increasing by 45 MB per week.
My questions are:
1) How much gain in disk space can we get by running this utility?
2) What is siebel's best practice recommendation on how often and when to run this utility?
3) There is a flag in the utility to determines if old versions of file attachments will be removed. To remove old versions, set this value to Y. Default value is N. If the attachments are tied to a specific SR, when do you use the Y flag in our situation?
