Symptoms

User has a a problem with image displaying via mail web interface in e-mail messages which are sent through Outbound Request using HTML template.

They have configured advanced template with two template items: .html file, marked as “message body” and .gif file, with Attachment Label = “lg”.

The .html file is the following:

<html>

<body>

Hi! <br>

This is image:<br>

<img src="lg"><br>

Do you see it?<br>

</body>

</html>

When the message is  receive with MS Outlook the image is displayed, but it can not be seen when it is received it with AOL mail web interface (mail.aol.com).

They also tried  not to use Attachment Label, accessing image via <img src="image_name.gif">, but the result was the same.

User can send the message containing image from Outlook to AOL and it displays fine.

As per the client requirement, the image should be embedded into the message and not referenced by external (http) link.
