An External Business Component (EBC) has been configured and an error is being generated.
Using the view Household-Policies based on the BC's Household and VGZ EBC FINS Household Policies - Read Only.
BC Household is linked to a the table S_PARTY which resides in the Siebel Database. The External Business Component VGZ EBC FINS Household Policies - Read Only is linked to the table EX_CSA_0000008 (copy of S_ASSET) which resides in the external database.
From VGZ EBC FINS Household Policies - Read Only, we join in two fields from the tables below:
Column GROUP_OU_ID from S_GROUP_CONTACT which resides in the Siebel database (this is a vanilla join)
Column X_CSA_0000011_0005 from EX_CSA_0000011 (copy of S_ASSET_CON) which resides in the external database
The join from EX_CSA_0000011 works fine but the join from S_GROUP_CONTACT gives us trouble.
Application is looking for the S_GROUP_CONTACT in the external database instead of the Siebel database. This table is not present in the external database, so the application will generate a SQL-error.
Is it possible to join in fields from a Siebel table from a BC that is based on an External Table?
