Errors in Upghys: The key index for encrypted column can't be empty (Doc ID 740354.1)

This applies from 8.0 and above which includes current versions as well Siebel CRM 17.x and above

Symptoms

Trying to perform upgrade to 8.0 from older versions. Completed the upgrep successfully and completed the repository merge also. Trying to perform UPGPHYS and its erroring

Encountering the following error while we execute the (upghys)

 

 

Issue can be reproducible with following steps:

  1. Performing upgrade from 7.7.2 to 8.0.0.3
  2. Invoke database configuration wizard to initiate upgrade UPGREP and then Repository Merge
  3. After completion of repository Merge, trigger UPGPHYS process
