Problem with LDAP authentication (Doc ID 746627.1)

Goal

After moving the Siebel Application user (LDAP) from under say /SYSTEM to /USERS and setting the following security adaptor parameters:

ApplicationUser = "cn=SADMIN,ou=USERS,o=oracle"
BaseDN = "ou=USERS,o=oracle"

then logon is only possible by prefixing the Siebel username with the LDAP directory base node, e.g. USERS/JBLOGGS

How can the LDAP Security Adaptor be configured so that Siebel users can login with just their Login IDs?
