Revising a quote where the current user is not primary on the sales team errors out.
1. Create New Quote
2. Add additional persons to Quote Sales Team
3. Change Primary on Quote Sales Team
4. Revise Quote
5. Application throws error and newly revised quote is created but not shown on application UI. When you write a select SQL statement on database, the new revision records is visible.
“An end of file error has occurred.
Please continue or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.(SBL-DAT-00393)“
6. Now navigate to Opportunity Administration view in application and drill down on the same opportunity and navigate to Opportunity – Quotes view. The newly created revision which was not visible in step 5 above is now visible. Once the revision is accessed in ADMIN mode, the record is also visible on the normal Opportunity – Quotes view as well (i.e. in Non ADMIN mode).
The above behavior is also reproducible when using the Sample database for Siebel standard application.
