Digitally Signed e-mails are not processed by Siebel eMail Response module

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Customer identify that some email messages been processed by Siebel Email Response module are not in Siebel Application.
Analyzing the log files we could verify that email Content-Type: multipart/signed.
From the POP3SMTP_DAB8_7_7_497F545D_4187E611.log I can see the following error:

POP3SMTP[01/28/2009 21:09:14:758]:ERROR:Error parsing message E:\sea78dev22\siebsrvr\bin\incoming\OriginalMessageText_7_7_497F545D_2_4581EBA7.txt, message moved to E:\sea78dev22\siebsrvr\bin\failed
And the ContextType of you message is multipart/signed and the attachments for the email were contained within a ".p7m" MIME attachment.
This an encrypted "attachment" containing the whole inbound message and attachments requiring an S/MIME enabled mail client to open and read it.
Siebel 7.x and 8.x currently is not S/MIME enabled.
