SSL error SBL-NET-01553 when setting up SSL using Intermediate CA

Encounter issue (not getting login page and server busy error) setting up SSL communication between the Siebel Server and Siebel Web Server when an intermediate CA is used to generate the server certificate. Error below reported in log files.
