Siebel CRM - Version [20412] to [23016] [Release V8]

Customer has implemented the standard LDAPSecAdpt in Siebel 8. This is working fine. They are now trying to secure the communications channel between the security adapter and the LDAP server using secure sockets layer (SSL). During the initial adapter start up and binding the process is failing with the following errors and messages:

ldap_ssl_client_init(/app/siebel/siebelfs/swassldb/, ...) returns 113.

ldap_ssl_init(, 636, ...) returns 0.

LDAP SecurityFreeErrMessageSecurityFreeErrMessage8, ErrMessage=ce56058.

SBL-SEC-10018: ldap_ssl_init failed

The desired behavior would be that the LDAPSecAdpt would bind successfully to the external directory using SSL.
