Records Getting Deleted while Using IE back button on Calendar Screen

When adding activities to the calendar, then using the browser back arrow to save the current activity and go back to calendar, after about 10-15 iterations of using the back arrow, records are being deleted. Hitting the back arrow starts deleting earlier activities just added to the calender in prior steps. So the back arrow functionality begins to delete data permanently. This is typical business usage for the customer's users, therefore there is a potential for a large amount of calendar entries to be removed from the database.
- Sequence of events:
1) Open 'Calander' screen after logging into Siebel app.
2) Click on a calendar day to add a new activity. Instead of clicking off the record to do an implicit save, the user hits the browser back arrow. This brings the user back to the monthly or weekly calendar view and the new activity is saved.
3) Repeat Step #2 for 10-15 iterations. After hitting the back arrow, see if the current activity was deleted, then ultimately prior activities also begin to be deleted with each new iteration. Data is deleted with no way of recovery.
