Cannot Get Service: BS_Name (SBL-UIF-00275) Error When Invoking A Business Service Using Browser Script or Web Client Automation Server (Doc ID 823053.1)

Symptoms

When trying to invoke a custom business service or vanilla business service using Browser Script or Web Client Automation Server ,  the below error occurs:


 

  • Perform a Compile in pre IP17, or Deliver in IP17 onward.
  • Click the button from UI.  The above error occurs. 

    • Same error would occur for Web Client Automation Server by creating Excel macro which calls the business service as documented in Object Interfaces Reference.

    When the excel macro is launched,  the "Cannot get service: BS_Name (SBL-UIF_00275)" error message is displayed on Web Client.
