Last updated on SEPTEMBER 22, 2017
Applies to:Siebel CRM - Version 7.7.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
The document illustrates some of essential details in Siebel JMS Transport setup, suggested for direct of JMS connectivity with the JMS provider of a Enterprise Messaging System implemented by the IBM WebSphere MQ Series Server.
NOTE: The setup examples are provided for direct integration cases between the Siebel CRM Application and the IBM WebSphere MQ Series Server, without involving a J2EE Application middleware server (such as the IBM WebSphere Application Server). Details about the java libraries and classes, required for connecting to JNDI Service and JMS Provider offered by a J2EE server, have to be found in the software vendor's documentation.
NOTE-2: This document does not provide complete steps of enabling and setting up the Siebel JMS Transport in the Siebel Enterprise. These steps are well outlined in details in the Chapter "Java Message Service Transport", of the Siebel Bookshelf document: "Transports and Interfaces: Siebel Enterprise Application Integration" (EAI Volume 3).
