Cannot Merge Account & Contacts when they have identical Parent Relationships




Symptoms


1. Create 3 new Contacts: 'Merge 1 Test', 'Merge 2 Test' & 'Merge 3 Test'
2. Drill into 'Merge 3 Test' and go to the 'Relationship Hierarchy' view
3. Create 2 new Relationships:
a. Relationship = 'Spouse', Type = 'Contact', Value = 'Merge 1 Test'
b. Relationship = 'Spouse', Type = 'Contact', Value = 'Merge 2 Test'
4. Go to Contacts List view
5. Select 'Merge 1 Test' and then 'Merge 2 Test' company records (so that 'Merge Test 1' will be the primary
6. Select Edit > Merge Records...
7. Select Ok
8. Records Merge
9. Drill into 'Merge 3 Test' and go to the 'Relationship Hierarchy' view
10. There are now duplicates: Value = 'Merge 1 Test' exists twice

Same behavior for accounts also. Duplicates are created.
