Symptoms

SIEBEL VERSION:
---------------
Siebel SIA 8.1.1 [21111] + QF0001 (ACR437_UCM) + QF0009

ISSUE STATEMENT:
----------------

A workflow process has been created which is then deployed as a web service. The workflow process has a step that invokes the "UCM Transaction Manager" Business Service method named "SOAPExecute" that was made available via Siebel SIA 8.1.1 + QF0001 (ACR437_UCM). The problem is that when this "UCM Transaction Manager" Business Service method named "SOAPExecute" is executing, it does not invoke the Survivorship Rules eventhough the "Enable Survivorship Engine" System Preference has been set to TRUE to enable survivorship engine to run.

BEHAVIOR PATTERN:
-------------------------------
The behavior pattern is:

a. Survivorship Rules are executed as expected when the workflow UCM Customer Profile Integration Process (File Transport Test Workflow) is executed, where this workflow uses the same Business Service but a different method (Execute).

b. Survivorship Rules are not executed when the workflow process invokes the "UCM Transaction Manager" Business Service "SOAPExecute" method.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
-------------------------------
The expected behaviour is that the "UCM Transaction Manager" Business Service "SOAPExecute" method should apply the survivorship rules since the System Preference "Enable Survivorship Engine" = TRUE.

ERROR MESSAGE:
-------------------
There are no error messages that occurs with this issue.
