Symptoms

 In our application we are trying to read data through eScript from a txt file encoded in UTF8 format. It is intended to store this data inside custom Business Component.
The import of the records takes place without issue as long as the characters are latin. As soon as a greek character is met the process fails.
The file is stored inside UNIX server.

Below you may parts of the respective eScript we are using:

fp = Clib.fopen(sFilePath,"ru");
while((sProduct=Clib.fgets(fp))!=null)
{
 sProduct = sProduct.replace(/[\r\n]+/g, "");
 arrProduct = sProduct.split(",");
sEposId = arrProduct[0];
sProdName = arrProduct[1];
sProdStatus = arrProduct[2];
sEposType = arrProduct[3];
sProdType = arrProduct[4];

}

We have also tried using fp = Clib.fopen(sFilePath,"rt"); option.

Could you please provide your feedback on how to resolve this issue?
Please let us know whether more information is needed.
