This document describes issues moving a Solaris 2.x Operating Environment boot disk between machines.

The information in this article applies systems with the Solaris 2.x Operating System installed.

NOTICE: Moving a boot drive (loaded with the Solaris 2.x operating system) from one machine to another is not supported by Oracle.
